Very good Middle Eastern food in a small strip mall on Southfield Road. This is very close to where I live, and has never disappointed. The service is always very friendly and quick. Very fresh tasting food. I would recommend calling ahead if you do not want to wait. The hummous is one of favorites from around the area, as well as the garlic sauce. The sandwiches are great, as well as the dinners. The kabob dinner is a generous portion and is enough for several meals. I usually stick with the chicken kabob, but have also tried other dishes. The lentil soup has a unique taste, and I prefer other places.

We love, love, LOVE this place! They have the best garlic sauce I've ever eaten. Their crushed lentil soup is amazing. The prices are reasonable. In short, go eat here!!!

First off, they deliver. So BIG points on that for delivering to my office. Second, they are friendly when you call to place an order, and I have not had an issue with mistakes. Also a big plus.

This joint is my new local favorite Middle Eastern place!! Garlic sauce was on point. Pickles galore. The chicken schwarma sandwich was one of the best!! The guy who answered the phone was very nice and delivery was fast. We will definitely be ordering from them again.

Good food, great prices, very friendly staff. Excellent hummus and baba, and great sandwiches. Try the #08 fresh squeezed juice (carrot, apple, parsley, ginger)...not to sweet with a nice kick from the ginger and parsley. The only thing holding it back from a fifth star is the so-so dining room.

One day after long day of work and hungry, driving down Southfield Rd like I do everyday, I noticed a sign that said Kabob, so being a huge fan of middle eastern food, I stopped to see how good their shawarma is. I got the sandwich and a fruit smoothie. I chatted with the owner a bit and he said he just opened the place. He was a nice guy (Kador) and remembers me and my name now everytime I stop there. About the food. It was really good! Their pickles was one of the best I have had. Nice crunch and not a over powering flavor to ruin the chicken. The pita was nicely grilled on the outside. Good tasting garlic and good moist chicken. The smoothie was super good too. I can tell they use lot of honey and I love that. I haven't been there in awhile and I feel like I should stop by and say hello and eat some good food. About the inside of the restaurant. It's not big and it has a LCD TV with some shows playing. It's not a bad spot to sit and dine but I wouldn't do a date night here. I didn't see a bathroom and you might have to go back in the back (kitchen) to use it just to wash your hands maybe. They need to fix this issue.

A true hidden gem. Fantastic deboned chicken & excellent lentil soup. The rice, garlic sauce, & grilled veggies are very good too all at a good value. all the elements are in place although they could use a little boost in terms of décor/ambience (gimme some Omar Souleyman tracks while I wait for my order!!) Whatevs!! This place owns. my preferred destination for carry-out kebob in the area.

Taking classes across the street, I got hungry at lunchtime one time for Arabic food. I decided to go see how this place was despite of such an unimposing location/exterior. All I've eaten so far the times I've been are a falafel sandwich and lentil soup, but am gonna try more next time...venture to the kafta perhaps, but the falafel sandwich is so good that I crave it. Simple, but with just the right favors/seasonings...have had this at other places and some kind of spice or another was too dominant. I have to say the food here is great! Simple, honest, Arabic fare, but done just as well as the places off Warren, if not better than some.

Decent food, decent portions, decent prices. What more could you ask? Better parking is what along with better location.

I was surprised at the quality of the shish-kabob. The steak was marinaded just right. It was cooked just right and tasted great. I have been a few times to have this. Be careful when ordering not to over order. They give you large portions. I was especially impressed by their rice pilaf. I have now stolen their approach and use it on my own rice pilaf at home (To Rave Reviews) They add crushed roasted pistachios and toasted sesame seeds on top. Yummy. Really Yummy. Only downside is the lack of beer. It would really top off the meal.

I frequent the restaurant, not only because the food is good, but also because the owner is always polite. There are a number of Mediteranian diners in the area, but this one has good food at a good price. If you're in the area, I recommend checking out Kabob Kabob.

Slow down or you may miss it! It's a humble looking place but the food is tasty and the service is very friendly! I love, love, LOVE their garlic sauce! This has become one of my go to places for Middle Eastern food.

Absolutely fabulous. We ordered a bunch of various items for dinner and the delivery was very fast. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything was perfect. This is definitely my new favorite Middle Eastern restaurant!

Friendly staff, fresh food, and great prices. This is a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner. The decor is simple. I have been there several times and the food is always great, full of flavor, and fresh.

Kabob Kabob has delicious food and smoothies. I've never dined in, but our family gets delivery every other week. When the delivery driver arrives, our three kids start jumping up and down from excitement - it's that good. Wonderful food, very nice people.

This is your regular "kabob" "middle-eastern joint" It is slightly above average. I have tried the shish tawook sandwich with chicken. It was tasty, but not the best sandwich I have ever had. However, the price was fair, at $3.50 a sandwich you won't be breaking the bank.

Kabob Kabob is on Southfield Road just south of 12 Mile Road. This is our new "favorite" restaurant. The name is a little corny, but we've never imagined Middle-Eastern food could be so fresh and delicious. Low in calories, healthy diet, terrific food. We're both picky eaters who are not always happy, even in fabulous restaurants. We're both pleased as punch with Kabob Kabob. This area is pretty lame for finding a good meal at a reasonable price. My wife is the one who suggested Kabob Kabob because she's on Weight Watchers again, and I'm really glad she did. It's a simple neighborhood storefront with a half-dozen tables (the bulk of their business is carry-out) but they **really** know what they're doing in the kitchen. I ventured behind the counter (the customer restroom is in the back) and found everything in the building is clean and well-organized. There's a wash-up sink in the kitchen just for employees, which is as it should be. Kador remembered my name after my first visit and he will make up a meal of whatever you want to eat -- the menu is more like a list of suggestions. We have a "vegetarian/no eggs" friend who visits us and meals for her are a lot of trouble. Problem solved! She loves this place. Their unusual spicy pickles are homemade in their kitchen each day. The hommus has spices in it I've never tasted before, and it's really yummy. Chicken is tender and flavorful and cooked just right on a special grill. They make their own raspberry salad dressing (tasty!). Rice is gently spiced, moist and better than any rice we've eaten anywhere else. How do they do that? Grape leaves were a shock -- I always thought they were supposed to be stiff and chewy, but now that I've had Kabob Kabob's fresh, handmade version, I know what they're SUPPOSED to taste like. They make up vegetarian or meat grape leaves to order, and they're tasty and juicy. The leaves are soft and tender. Now I'm spoiled. Prices are around $10 to $14 for far more than enough food for 2 people. They make lots of health-drink and fruit smoothies; I haven't tried them, but I often see other people enjoying them. They make roll-up pita sandwiches for the lunch crowd that are easy to eat while driving, but I'm not as impressed with those -- pair up with a friend and split a dinner to get much more food for the same price per person. They have a menu online at kabobkabob.net and they're open 10AM to 9PM every day but Sunday. They will deliver almost anywhere -- call. They catered a birthday party for us. Our guests raved. Kador gave us a small spinach pie to try. It was wrapped in a layer of dough and baked to make it easy to handle. Tasty! Kador says his business is from repeat customers, and every single time I've been there, I've seen repeat customers who all say the food is fabulous. That's always a good sign.

had ordered food for 8 people. Called ahead and asked for delivery. I'm amazed. Food came fast, exactly as ordered and was still warm! Very happy. For the prices, i was expecting simple, not too heavy food, but the portions on the falafel w/fries are more than enough for the average person. Unlike the falafel I've had in Toronto, these ones contain pickles which initially was odd, but it just added a new dimension to what I was accustomed to. Its a little picky, but the fries (huge steak cut style) where a little over fried and had no salt...but the falafel made up for this. I can't wait for my next meal from here!

I travel to Southfield for business. I don't know what these guys put in their food, but it's addictive. Everything I've tried tastes much better than I've ever found anywhere else. The lunch roll-ups, not so much, but they're inexpensive. The hommus with grilled chicken keeps me coming back for more. They put spices in the hommus that make it grand. Their raspberry salad dressing is home made and it's the best. Be sure and get some of their spiced pickle slices - they make those special too. Good for carry-outs, a few tables if you want to eat inside, free wi-fi. Looks simple, tastes great. Big screen TV. A true local gem. They go way overboard on fruit smoothies, a real value for all the fruit they put in. Everything on the menu is low-fat and really healthy. Staff is always friendly and helpful, service is really fast, we just keep going back for more. They'll deliver to any place that's reasonable. If you live in Birmingham, Berkley, Beverly Hills, Southfield, Royal Oak or NW Detroit, it's worth the drive. Seriously.

I ordered the Kabob combo (rice with a skewer of chicken kabob and a skewer of beef kabob on top with sautéed vegetables, pickles and tahini sauce on the side). The meat seasoned well and good. The rice was delicious and the garlic sauce is amazing. The greek salad looked and tasted very good. The tahini sauce adds amazing flavor on the food. The lentil soup was also very delicious and colorful, not just plain yellow. I had a delivery order and the food came hot and fresh. I will order Kabob Kabob every time I am at work.

I ordered delivery from this establishment and wanted a little customization to my meal. I ordered a chicken schwarma sandwich with extra tomatoes added, steak fries with feta and a lemon wedge (they forgot my lemon), and crushed lentil soup. The gentleman who took my order was very kind and patient to make sure he understood my order. And something tells me it was him who also delivered my meal, relatively quickly, I might add. I found the fries and even feta lacked flavor for me. I added some sea salt, which helped, but fries are just one of those things you've got to eat fresh. The soup was very aromatic, and also needed salt, but once I added a little, I enjoyed it very much. I probably should have gotten a larger portion than just a small. The sandwich was fresh, but I believe I am spoiled. Nothing tastes as good as Ollie's in Dearborn to me. At any rate, I'd give a 5 for the service and a 3 for the taste which rounds us out to my 4 star-rating.

Quick and delicious! The garlic sauce is the best! I always order more, and I'm never nickled and dimed. Greek salad with chicken and a chicken shawarma is my usual, along with a guava soothie! Very impressed with the selection of fruit for the smoothies and how tasty they all are. I went to school in dearborn, and this is better than most places I have found there! Win win win!

This place is amazing. I went for Ethiopian one day and it was closed so just stumbled across Kabob Kabob. Best luck ever! The lentil soup is by far the best I've ever had. The garlic dip is the best I've ever had. Everything else is good but I could live on the lentil and garlic. Great for carry out and good prices.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE business!! Stopped by this place for what I thought would be a quick lunch... Ordered 2 chicken kabobs with double rice ($13). I asked for a side of garlic sauce and when he rung up the total it was $17! $4 for a side of garlic sauce?! No thank you! So I pay for my order minus the garlic sauce..ask how long will the wait be.. "10 mins" I'm told. So I sit and wait... I wait 10 mins. I wait 15 mins. Now I'm going to be late to my appt. I continue to wait... Almost 20 mins later I can't wait anymore. I ask for a refund. At first I'm told "no".. "The food is already on the grill. That would be waste". I tell him I understand but I have waited 20 mins and can't wait anymore. He talks to someone in the back...half in English half in Arabic. The OWNER comes from the back clearly pissed off demanding the reason for my request for a refund. I explain to him that I've waited 20 mins now and can not wait anymore. He tries to argue the wait time by looking at the ticket which PROVED that indeed I had been waiting as long as I said I had. So instead of apologizing he throws his hands in the air and says "forget it! You want your money back?! Take it! I don't care!"... Then he proceeds to talk about me to his employee...while I'm standing there! It was a lady behind me who said "they're always assholes like this to people". I'm like WHAT?! Why are you coming back to a business where the people behave and treat you this way?! I took my money and left... Never will I give such a place of "business" my money! You shouldn't either!! I wish I could leave them -5 stars! HORRIBLE!!

This is a small restaurant with a big menu. I typically get carry out and the food is always delicious. It is obvious they take great pridein the produce they use for their salads as well as all the ingredients they use for their food. Very fresh ingredients Especially great is the lentil soup and their hummus is terrific. We buy the soup by the quart.

Just tried Kabob Kabob for the first time after visiting the salon next door because I was super hungry! I just ordered the Chicken Schwarma to go, and it was quick and delicious! I had the warm yummy wrap in my hand within 3 minutes of ordering it, and the first bite with the chicken and garlic sauce...oh so satisfying!
